Hello everyone. thought that we'd fill you in with a postcard as we have about a million pictures, and frankly, we dont have the patience to put them on! we are in Kuala Lumpur now, which is pretty metropolitan, a bit flashy, but there are still rats willing to nibble at your toes when you walk down the street at night. We've already been to see the Petronas towers, but couldnt get up them so are having to get up at the crack of dawn to give it another go. today we completely ditched the culture vulturing and went to a theme / water park... there is simply no better way of getting rid of a stinking hangover than hanging upsidedown in a pirateship. before here we were in Krabi, which gave Laos a run for its money on the quietness stakes. The beaches were beautiful though, an there were a lot of islands to expore. Phuket resembles Pattaya in the sleezy stakes and we finally found out what it is like to be a Western man in Thailand - the woman there didnt care whether you were male or female. we also met a lovely rentboy there who wanted us to teach him better English. We visited the Phi Phi islands and went to where "The Beach" was filmed. did a bit more snorkelling - Jade was stung by something and the fish were a bit too cheeky for our liking, thinking that they would like to invite us into their schools. Mokey island was a definite highlight, where the cheeky little beggers jumped aboard our boat and stole our food. rascals. Im sure you'll all be delighted to know that the ring of fire wounds are healing nicley... and Hayley is already peeling (not good!) A fond farewell for now... and we'll be seeing you next friday.
