Hi Guys,

So i am safely in Australia, just chilling out in Sydney! Am trying to get some of the photos uploaded but its very diffilcult as the camera has put them all in the strangest order imaginable! but its something for you to look at!! My first day in Sydney and it rained! Wasn't very impressed so I took cover in the aquarium and the wildlife world which were cool. Its warmed up a little bit today but not enough to have no jumper. Hopefully Brisbane will be a lot warmer!!

My last month at the park was full of all the stuff i'd been doing before, however my last lion walk will go down in history as the lions, Lozi and Mana were chasing warthog. The warthog took cover in a hole and then charged out, straight into my leg! Luckily I wasn't got by a tusk as that could have been nasty but just got a nice big bruise down my calf! Amazing thing was that one of the warthogs ran straight into the lions and Lozi caught one! His first kill! This is quite unusual on the walks and the lions are still young and usually chase things but miss, however Lozi did everything he was supposed to and killed it straight away, then carrying it off to eat it, with me hobbling along behind!!

Talking of kills, my last 2 night encounters were very enventful with kills on both! The first was an ostrich (the only one left in the park) which was quite horrific as it didn't struggle once it was caught and so the lions didn't make an attempt to kill it so they ate it alive!!!! We couldn't do anything but watch! The 2nd was better, the lions (same as the ostrich kill) caught a young red hartebeest and killed it straight away!! Think it was the long neck that confused them with the ostrich!!
