Santiago, Chile

Next stop Santiago. We stayed in a lovely hostel, it was so homely and nice. While in Santiago we went to the Concha y Toro vineyard which was really good. We did a tour of the Vineyard and did some wine tasting. We wandered around Santiago and up the furnicular for some views and a great swimming pool.

Colonia, Uruguay

Next we went to Colonia which is an old colonial town, surprisingly. It was very nice, and we hired golf buggies and drove around the town and to the beach!

Mum It's ages since anyone wrote on this! I guess most poeple talk to you on face book. The photos are great. You both look so happy. Mum just looked at the photos on slide show..the floats look amazing. Certainly a carnival to remember! Hope the weather improves for your last few days there so you can explore all the beaches. You will meet your fellow tourers on Tuesday so hopefully will be able to spend your last evening in Rio with them. xx
