Un Paseo Por La Antigua
This hotel was highly recommended by a friend. The owners are a french couple, Isabel and Didier, that successfully ran the Ecolodge La Lancha in Peten (area where Tikal is) that was later bought by Francis Ford Coppola. It has 5 rooms and it is located close to Casa Santo Domingo.
Extraordinary breakfast on the terrace with sight on the volcanic eruptions of the Fuego volcano still in activity
Rates (all taxes & breakfast included): $135

Sounds like you had a great time.Hayley I can sympathise with you being sea-sick,it's the worst thing. That black and white fish was obviously a Collingwood supporting fish and was trying to give you a sublimal message that the Pies are going to win the flag and that you should climb on the bandwagon.Pretty obvious Hayley I'm surprised you didn't pick up on that:)
Finals fever:I don't know if you tuned in or not but the Mighty Pies after being down 5 goals at half time kicked the winning goal with 20 secs. on the clock. It's the Cats on Sat.Go Pies.
It's great that we're going to see you earlier than we thougt and keep on having a great time.
Tony
Finals Flops:The Blues after being 5 up in the last Q overrun by the rampaging Lions and the Pies face the white hot Crows after going down without a whimper to the Saints.
Tony
The finals are here and the Blues, after being smashed by the Crows travel to The Gabba for a k.o.final.
The Pies lost to the Doggies by 24 pts.which sent them to 4th and the Saints at The G.for a qualifier.Adelaide, who are in great form, could be the dark horse of the finals.
Barbara
As nice as Cartagena must be, don;t think its going to be on the top of my list if ever I get to South America - too hot!! Great blog looking forward to hearing from you when you get off the boat.
Lorraine
You Guys are certainly having a wonderful time and every City and town you go to is so refreshingly different, you both are describing everything so well. Mmmmmm the lemonade sounds delicious in that hot climate, it would hit the spot nicely. Thanks for the birthday wishes for Nan and Katrina ' HAPPY BIRTHDAY' Barbara from the Guillot family .
Hayley and Ryan looking forward to the next blog and hearing about your boat trip and new advetures.....LOTS of LOVE.. Lorraine & Mum ..XXXXXXXX

Pies and Blues both had easy wins over the Swans and the Ds and with one week to the finals are both in good shape.Pies now equal favourites for the flag.

Hi Hayley and Ryan,
I see from your blog that you are both having a fantastic time as per usual!! Everyone is going well here. I start my next two subjects next week, which I am strangely looking forward to doing. I have to fly to adelaide on the 27th of september, for some uni workshops, but will be back on the 29th. Charles is doing really well at school, and has been getting some great rports. Charles will be making his confirmation on the 11th of september, and has chosen the name Anthony. Paul was hoping that Charles would choose his name, but Dad won out! Anyway, look after yourselves, and keep having a fantastic time! lots of love AmberXXXX
