Hi everyone,

The flight from Sydney to Hong Kong was on time. We were lucky enough to be top deck on the jumbo so it was a very comfortable 9 hours. Managed to catch up on a few films, Mamma Mia and The Dark Knight, both very good.

When we arrived in Hong Kong it was 6pm local time but felt a lot later as we had come back 5 hours. Checked in to the hotel and then that was it for the night.

Thursday we got up quite early after the early night and had breakfast in the hotel. Then on the concierges advice we headed to the Peak via public transport, which included a ferry trip, then a bus ride and then the steepest tram I have ever been in up to the Peak. The views were amazing from the top and we were blessed with a clear day, no smog! Had Chinese in a restaurant that had amazing views down over Hong Kong.

Had a few hours to kill at the hotel before we got the taxi to the hotel so went out onto the pier and messed around with some night shots on the camera. Currently waiting to board our flight, which fingers crossed should leave at 11.30pm Hong Kong time and should arrive in the UK at 5am Friday morning.
