It's us again!!! Just thought we'd update you with our latest news! A very eventful night last night. After eating our wonderful pie and macaroni cheese we made, we started to get ready to go out for a couple of hours. We were told to use the haridryer in the bathroom because one of the smelly boys was sleeping in the room however we thought stuff it seeing as it was only 8.30pm! So we turned the hairdryer on only for it to stop working and start smoking!!! We'd blown the fuse in the only plug in our room whoops and broke the hairdryer. (We had to buy a new one today). We ended up straightening our hair in the laundry room where we will be again tonight! We headed to the city for a couple of drinks but was very quiet so decided to go back to St Kilda. We were told Jack from Home and Away was at a bar nearby so went in there however we had missed him :( After our free wine we got a bit carried away and had a FEW more! The bar was full of people from our hostel including a funny irish guy called Pete and some very nice french and german boys! Our quiet drinks ended up rolling in at 4.30 in the morning after going to see the noisy penguins at the pier. Trying to be quiet but not being very successful as i had to throw myself onto the top bunk (with help from hayley who was laughing uncontrollably.) The late night wasnt such a good idea when we had to be up at 7.00 this morning for the neighbours tour. As soon as we got to the set we were greeted by Karl Kennedy. There was lots of squeeling and excited photo taking. He even signed a postcard for us. We went to the street and its much smaller than we expected. Its so wierd that people actually live on that street! We came back and had a nap before exploring St Kilda. We're leaving now to get ready for a QUIET night seeing as we have to be up at 5.00am to get the bus to Sydney. We will write again and add our Melbourne photos when we get to Sydney!
