Raileh,
We had to wait until there was enough people to take the boat to Raileh theen paid 150B each and came accross. Its beautiful here. The beach to the west is gorgeous. We could either pay and get a boat across to where teh backpaker / Cheap accommodaiton is or we could climb 15 mins over limestone rocks. We chose th latter, in the scorching heat and with sweat dripping down our backs as we had our homes on our backs literally. We got there eventually checked in and laid on the beach all day watching the climbers. It is known as the most stunning beach in Thailand and fore one of the worlds top climbing destinations in the world. Its 800b for 4 hours beginners climb so will check it out tomorrow maybe Tim will be here then he's coming over with an English girl he met in Lanta.
We had our budget tea and toast yesterday morning and booked climbing for 2.00pm. I wore mikes boards shorts as my shorts cut into my skin. Climbing was fantastic adrenalin rushing through our whole bodies, well... lactic acid. I was shaking all over from muscles I've never used before! I did the same amount as Mike accept there was a vertical bit at the top of one which the instructor said i should maybe not attempt. We had to give the final climb a miss as we had nothing left in us to continue, no energy at all. We should have bought some chocolate or redbull or summat! Worked out to be 4 pound a climb which was great. Definatly one of the best things we've done so far! along with sky diving, white water rafting, snowboarding! Wow adrenalin junkies!
