Sandy So glad to at last read that you are doing some walking. You do not need to go looking for sloth bears, just look at yourselves for goodness sake! What a life. Great reading!!
GadgetGirl All these teasing posts about food - difficult to tolerate as I sit down to my plain steamed fish and veges! I wonder if you have come across any mind blowing (amongst other things) Vindaloo's yet? I was aware of India's passsion for tea and being the largest produce, but I wasn't aware of the 'tip', so thanks for the tip!

sandy Ohhh a subtle taste of cinnamon and cardamon you say - what are you writing for some arty, farty food magazine????? My baked beans and beetroot dishes are fine but can't say they have a subtle taste of anything really!!! Went to a footy game last night Hawthorn/Melbourne I now know about smothering the ball and flooding!!! Also I got $50 in the footy tips because I picked 8 (so did Marie but she had outside assistance!!) Have to advise you that I will not be sitting through 10000 photos John!! Sandy

GadgetGirl Pardon the pun, but 'rub it in' why don't you! Glad to read you are both having a thoroughly good time and am pleased that Chris finally landed a beer. Looking forward to reading more and to seeing the photos appear at the club.
Nella Love the photo!! I knew you would love the unique experience as much as we did. By the way, did you see the kingfishers, I imagined them bigger than their true size. Safe travels N&L Xx
re: varkala, IndiaNella Hi guys, loving the blogs. Remember to go down to the dock and eyeball the houseboat at Kerala and don't rely on the photo the agents or owners will show you. Another "in true style" Indian scam. Have a ball!! love from us both N&H

re: Goa, IndiaNella Horsburgh Wow can feel that sun. I feel like we are back there again, I also was amazed by the middle aged Anglo hippies along Goa's beaches. Also the only place where we saw young Indians holding hands and embracing in public. This place was in such contrast to the rest of India. Enjoy and thanks for the memory. Love heaps Nella & Leigh xx
