We have arrived in Vilnius on our overnight bus from Warsaw. Time for a bit of shut eye before we venture out to explore. After a few hours sleep we stroll down to the old town past the gates of dawn and presidential palace to the cathedral, castle and palace. We stop for dinner at a Lithuanian restaurant and enjoy an amazing meal including potato dumplings.

Glenn Carter Potato Dumplings sound good, my sort of food. Weather is still looking good with lovely blue skies. Vilnius looks very flat from the photos which would make it good for walking. Hope your feet are ok Hay. Love to you both M&D.xxx
Hayley Very good food. Feet looking better this morning. The size of my ankle is more in proportion to the rest of my leg! Also wearing new socks Elle got me which are good. We have been very fortunate with the weather so far but we shall have to see what Russia has in store XXX
