San sebastion is a very cool and beautiful place. It's idyllic location on the shell shaped Bahia de la concha, it's crystalline waters, flawless beach, green hills on all sides is very captivating but the buzzing nightlife forced us to stay 3 nights here. The first day we went into the city it was crowded with people drinking at 11 am the bars were full and there were banners and people everywhere. We then found out that there was a ragatta on and people had come from 4 different district from across Spain, it was the biggest race of the year and we found out that the spainards definitely know how to party. By midnight you could hardly move there was rubbish everywhere and the bars were full of drunken people the floor was so sticky that Daniel broke his thong. It was a very interesting night out. The following day it looked like a different city the rubbish and people had vanished and the travelers were visible again. We spent the day down the beach then met up with a couple from our campsite who took us to the best tapas/pintxos bar the food was amazing we sampled everything from foie gra to frog legs which were Daniels favorite, drank the traditional wine txakoli to early hours in the morning. It was very fun but not so fun driving for 6 hours the next day with a hang over.

Dianne Sidebottom Hi Leapy & /Dan, Thought I would jump on and see where you are at. Sounds like you are having a blast. Mind you, anywhere would be nicer than here at the moment. Weather is disgusting. We have been in Coral Bay for 2 weeks and it was just perfect up there. Mitchell didn't end up coming with us as he had finals footy. Unfortunately they lost (all grades) and are now out of the finals. Enjoy the rest of your hols and we will see you when you get back. You both look like you're having a ball and Brookyet looks terrific. Lots of love, Aunty Dianne and Allan
