We made it to Barcelona after a long hot drive. Our campsite was right on the beach so we spent the first day chilling out by the beach. Headed into Barcelona the following day, it's one of our favorite cities, it definately is a visual feast. The gaudi buildings r just amazing, they are so different and have so much detail that guy was a genius with a wild imagination I'm sure. We enjoyed lots of sangria, paella, tapas and of course beer. We arrived in avinion late in the afternoon to a beautiful sight of the city walls glowing in the sunlight on the other side of the river. It is a beautiful city, very quiet , barely any cars. It is still surrounded by the original castle walls, normally they get demolished when the city expands. It wasn't that exciting but a very pleasant day.

The French riveira is a place where people come from all over the world to show how much money they have. Ferrari, Austin martins, 85m yachts with their own helicopter, it's all here. Beautiful beaches and towns line the coast. We took the slow road along the coast so we could see it all as we drove through. We did a lap of the Monaco race track in Satan, wandered the streets of nice, beautiful fresh seafood in caines, it was a great week. I hope to return one ...

We arrived in levanto late in the afternoon after driving from Pisa. In the camp we met an Aussie couple from margret river. The cinque terre is 5 towns with very little access. There is a train that stops at each one and that is the only transport that can get to all towns. This is the attraction to come here, no big resorts. Stopped into Pisa on our way from Florence to the coast. It is unbelievable how much the tower leans. Something you have to see for your self
