We have now left Phi Phi and are spending one last night in Phuket before boarding a flight to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.

Phi Phi was amazing - just like the postcards i've sent you special few!! ;-) We arrived and after a manic hot rush with our bags found our first place to stay. Most of our time was spent chilling on the beach, drinking fruit shakes and just generally enjoying our time doing nothing. We did do a boat trip around the islands and visited Maya Bay which is the setting for The Beach with Leo Dicaprio, plus Monkey beach and Bamboo island (pic of those are uploaded on facebook) along with Mosquito bay! which apart from the unappealing name was really good for snorkelling.

After a few more days of sand and beach we decided to all book to go diving, i wasn't very good (i had a cold which effected my ears) so the ever so patient diving instructor had to take me down on my own! As soon as we all jumped off the boat we spotted our first turtle - then another few. On the second dive as soon as we hit the seabed we saw a leopard shark which i'm told has no teeth so harmless?! along with lionfish, eel etc etc.

The day before we left me and Dave walked up the the view point which overlooks the small part of the island we were staying on - its also the evacuation point incase of another tsunami! (good to know!) took a few more postcard pics and made our sweaty way back down!

Have now said goodbye to Rich and Liz as they are now off to Koh Toa for Xmas and New Year and are looking forward to somewhere new - Kuala Lumpur here we come!
