Ok, so we are now in Malawi, different time zone & another new currency!
We've spent the last two nights at Lake Malawi, its the largest fresh water lake so its like being at the beach. There seems to be alot more reptiles here - a snake crawled over my foot the other night when was all in the bar & i shared a shower with 4 frogs this morning (was told the snake was only a spotted tree snake - not poisonous but didn't stop me screaming!!)
Being on the truck is hard work, the drives are very long - sometimes all day, we then have to set the tent up oly to put it back down again the following morning, but at least it will make us appreciate the hostels we're due to face! Everyone is really nice on the truck too - we've made some friends that we will hopefully catch up with in Oz.
We went in Malawi's capital city, Lilongwe before heading in Zambia & we found........a Nando's!! We usually eat & prepare lunch on the truck but Malawi practises begging as a culture so a tour guide (Biggie) told us we would be better eating at a restaurant (not that Dave needed any persuading!)
On route to Zambia now & looking forward to a few activities there xxxxxxx
