Hi, Brian here. Welcome to my new travel blog. I set this up so I can keep an on-line account of my travels and also for friends and family to keep in touch and find out (roughly) where in the world I am. I'm not long back from Uganda where I spent 2 weeks working with Habitat for Humanity as part of a Global Village project helping to build houses for those in need, a really amazing experience! I've visited some countries in Europe..France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and been to New York, Washington DC, LA and San Francisco...but right now I'm sitting at a PC in my hometown of Waterford, Ireland eagerly awaiting October 23rd at 10am when, along with my good friend Michael Morrissey, I depart Dublin and fly west to New York. The plan is to spend 5 nights in the Big Apple then flyin on to Nashville for a night before driving to Memphis, Jackson, Baton Rouge and arriving in Houston, Texas for 4 nights, then to San Diego for a few nights before crossing the border into Mexico and hiding in Tijuana and Ensenada for

a few days. From there we'll cross back over the border and head for America's playground, the fabulous Las Vegas. After gambling away all our cash, we'll make a break for LA for a few nights and as soon as they kick us out of there we'll hop back in the car and head on up the coast to San Francisco. After a week or so of seeing the sights, drinking the wine, and catching up with my grandmother, several uncles and aunts and literally thousands of cousins we shall depart Frisco for the "land down under" arriving in Melbourne at the end of November...from there, who knows...watch this space!
