vienna is amazing!!!!!!! it's so beatufiul, been rushed off our feet!chilled at the hostel last night (overheard a very much "male" conversation and resisted urge to kick the men, who were alone at the bar...it fits!) but people in our odrm are lovely, have own kitchen and shower-it's a girl dorm with 6 girls at mo, all great, so good time together!went to schlonbunn (gardesn only- free!) and, wait for it, FOURart galleries!kunst haus wien- curvy and so cool, child-liek things! belvedere- v popluar, had klimt. albertina- aboriginal art, photos, and The Bridge movement, and then MAK- a huge cool design one!!!the gardens are so beautiful here, and teh buildings are jsut unbelivable!will let helen tell u about tonight....

After a lovingly handcooked meal of pasta and ...um... cheese and tomatoes, we went out again to visit an art gallery at 9pm - uber cultural or what?! Then moved onto an open air cinema infornt of the Rathaus - see photo on blog - after miraculously escaping the musem shop withou buying anything. Atmospeher at open air cima was great - showing a film of Vienna Philarmonic. Ate fruit from a chocolate fountain and mokkas which looked suspiciuosly like espressos, at extortionate prices. Considering a day trip to Bratislava on the way to Budapest to up our country count - will be knackered tomorrow night. Must go xxxx
