I'm off to Queens today to see the other MoMA, PS1 (free if you've been to the other MoMA within two weeks and kept your ticket. Whatever you do take subway 7 to get here. It becomes an elevated train and takes you past a derelict building that is completely covered with amazing graffiti. Although I returned to it and walked around it as best I could and got amazing photos, the best art is only viewable from the train. I'll get off at the closest train station ...

A local day! I go to the post office and organize to send mum's package of cosmetics home - it's not bad value and I might send some more stuff back, especially Linda's transformer for her sewing machine as that thing is heavy, and space is getting quite limited. The town of scarsdale is looking festive - the council workers have put up flags all along the streets and the garden beds around the memorial are getting replanted. I'm off to the Guggenheim today to see some more fine art, then off to Bloomingdales to get the rest of mums cosmetic order. I got off in Harlem as I wanted to walk through the historic south part of Harlem to the start of Central Park. The streets are wide and there is not much traffic which feels strange, and there are alot of street loiterers which sometimes makes me wonder if I've strayed into some dodgy bits, then the neighbourhood changes to beautiful bro...

A local day today, to take some time out and get some housekeeping stuff done. I did a test pack of all my belongings in the morning, wrapped all the breakable things in bubble wrap (that would be the beautiful antique plates I have bought here, as well as some exquisite modern champagne glasses).
