I walked to a small park off queens boulevard after breakfast to sit in the sun & catch up with this blog. Today was the hottest day of my visit, so I decided to go to Gantry park. Trying to sleep in the heat was quite difficult until the early hours of the morning, when I could close the window to shut out the noise of the 7 train. I got up at 06:30am (01:30amUS) to head to the airport. The flight down was quick but our landing was delayed at Heathrow. We also were taken to an international gate instead of a domestic. This left me only 40mins to be bussed back to domestic to then have to walk back to the international gate. Having to disembark from the rear when I was in seat 1 didn't help.
