Howdy!

As you can possibly gather from the photos from our balcony-we appreciate the sun. And the sunset. Caroline brought a couple of coopers home to enjoy the sun and take in the fact that week end was finally here. Apparently that´s what the locals do too.

Today we´ve been on a bit of an adventure to this beach where there was a body boarding competition. If you don´t know what that is, I will try´n explain; crazy males puts on a wet suit, straps a tiny board to one of their feet and conquers these massive waves, some of them about 5 metres. The waves that is obviously. (Australians are btw quite short according to my standards, but thats a different story all together!) So-whith this board strapped to their foot, they attempt to spin and do tricks and ride the wave whilst getting to shore safelly. Some wipeouts looked quite scary, but all surfers survived. For some reason they seemed really relaxed. hm.

We met some people, and a dog. A very sweet dog that happily posed for me. She tried to eat my camera at one point too. Just a little sniff and a nibble. We both survived the shock, camera and myself.

From the body boarding comp we drove home and stopped at a couple of look out points. Quite stunning views! It´s really worth getting out of Glenelg over the weekends. This was just an hours drive south and as going to the Barossa; a total change of scenery!
