So this is my first ever blog! I am about to start a teaching internship in Chai buri after completing my TEFL course in Bangkok. There were around 60 of us interns there for the first week- it was pretty intense but I absloutely loved it and have made some great friends that I'll definitely be seeing again.

I moved into my new home just over a week ago. It has taken a lot of getting used to! From the outside it literally looks like a garage, but inside there's loads of space and pretty much everything we need (except a sofa to watch our massive TV, but can't be too picky!). One of the teachers who we call Pi ('brother') owns the building and works next door. His English is limited but he's always popping in offering to take us for food or to the market- we never know when he'll come or how far we'll be going so it's a bit of an adventure! Two of the English teachers have been around and bringing us food too,, they really can't do enough for us it's lovely.

We have spent the last week at Koh Samui and Koh Tao...it was so lovely to go back to Koh Tao it's definitely my favourite place so far. I think my blog would be too long if I mentioned everything I did there so I'll just say that it was CRAZY and today has been a day of recovery.

Tomorrow we have a meeting at the school and then our first classes start on Thursday. I can't wait to finally start what I came here to do but I am getting slightly nervous now! Will need to start on the lesson plans soon I think...let's see how long I keep that up for!
