Here it is, the last full day in England. Well the excitement and nerves are seriously kicking in now. Thank god I've got lunch with Emma to stop me from unpacking and repacking my bag over and over to see if I can make it any better. Oh well, either way I know I've definitely over packed. I've managed to avoid packing all and the kitchen sink. Although my mate, who was clearly listening to me intently, thought I was taking a proper pillow away with me. No Paul, I said a pillow case!
Anyone who knows me, knows that all I've ever want to do is travel. After several years going on and on about it, my mates will be glad I'm finally going just so they don't have to hear me mention it again (even if they have got a sweepstake on when I'll be back...cheers to a couple of them saying I'll only be gone for 2-3months, that's a vote of confidence!)
I have been truly spoilt over the last few weeks with the number of friends (you all know who you are and how much it means to me) who have made the effort to see me for leaving drinks. So, what was going to be two nights out (one in my home town in the north and one back in London) turned into about 2 solid weeks of being out and about. Maybe a month or so in the Priory would be better use of my time?!?!
So, last minute nerves...check. Packed bag...after failed several times, meh, it's as good as it's going to get, so check. Work/job...done. Leaving drinks...done and done again for good measure. One way ticket at the ready...check. That's it I'm set for my flight tomorrow.
Next stop...Dubai!! :)
