Hi!!

Well I have a bit more time to actually write something today than I did yesterday. Firstly Hawaii is GORGEOUS! Seriously I've never seen anywhere like it it's so beautiful!

Yesterday we booked all our activities, unpacked and just took a look around Waikiki Beach which is where we're staying. We are literally a 2 minute walk from the beach if that! In the night we went down the beach for 'Sunset on the beach' there was a guy singing with his guitar and everyone sitting on the sand watching the sunset it was so nice and it had gone quite cool by then so it was a comfortable heat. It is really hot here so I'm trying to stay in during midday sun or at least in the shade and I'm slapping the sun lotion on like crazy! It wasn't too bad sleeping though because we have a fan in our room so it's ok.

Today we got picked up at 8am to go on a trek through the rainforest up to a hidden waterfall called Manua Waterfall. It's the tallest one in Hawaii and it was amazing!! It took a while to get up to the top but it was worth it for the view, it's always a shame though I feel like the photographs never do the place justice when I take them, we need to do a bit more filming with the video camera!

We've just been down to the beach again now for a little bit, I've never felt so pale in my whole life but I just keep reminding myself...a tan is only burnt skin! haha

Tomorrow we're going to North Shore Beach and going to see the little town next to it which I can't remember the name of. On Wednesday we have a Hanuama Bay trip booked as well.

Anyway I might go and take a cold shower now to cool myself down! I'm sure I'll get a bit more used to the heat during the week and it's worth it to actually be in Hawaii!
