Decided not to stop here long but to head across to Phi phi, we were relieved to find the island had no roads thus no tuk tuk's! however they had taxi boats they still tried to sell you. Stayed at long island beach very remote and romantic but with only two places to eat it was time to head back to main land phi phi tomorrow. Found the anadamen resort practically on the beach, basic but clean we stopped here for three nights, taking a boat trip to monkey island - they were so amazing! and then to maya bay where 'the beach' was filmed before a bit of snorking and lunch on bamboo island. Unfortunatly its was tres cloudy and we couldn't catch the sunset. The following day we met four of the others from the tour group it was great to see them again, and have a little catch up before they head to malaysia. We just made it to bed when the text messages starting coming through that we were stuck in the coup - great!! was were worrying but down south everything is fine, hopefully by the time we return to Bangkok on sunday everything will be settled!
