today we headed for Ko lanta, we had been told it was remte but very beautiful, unfortunatly we found it to be a rubbish tip, the sunset ws amazing but that was about it. Checked in at the Holiday Inn - it was like being in a different world compared to the bamboo huts, there was a pillow menu - compared to having no pillows in the hut! Hi there, have arrived safely in Bangkok, it is an amazing but very busy city. Have been for a thai massage never knew my body to click and bend in so many ways!! Also taken the local tut tut that was an experience worse than those brummy taxi drivers!!! Had a few beers, saw a few sights and looked around the shops last night!!! Took the overnight train to Chaing Mai, much better than i expected, had proper beds, a western toilet and it was such great fun with a big group of us. After getting lost near the hotel in search of a cash machine, i spent the day at a thai cookery course, making my own spring rolls and papya salad - wagamma's here i come!!
