When we left off we were going to get ready for shabbat. We changed and got dressed to go to an early pre- shabbat dinner so we wouldn't have to pay on shabbat. We went to the Florida club we saw yesterday, across the street from the hotel and sat at a gorgeous table in the beach with the sun slowly setting. We had pasta, pizza and fish and of course Teta who the girls contented likes to complicate things insisted on paying for the meal before we ate it so that we would not be paying on shabbat even though Ronnie kept saying we have plenty of time. She also however arranged with the owner for us to order whatever we wanted on Saturday and pay him after shabbat so that we wouldn't go hungry at all. Oh- did I forget to mention that when we were at Pisa and Florence Tets spent the entire time trying to get to a bank to get cash and then at a supermarket buying enough good an army....anyway we enjoyed the beautiful dinner and went back to the hotel and went to sleep.

This morning we woke up late, went yo breakfast and then straight to the beach. The hotel pre- reserved us 2 umbrellas and a bunch of lounge chairs which we sat by all day. Emma played in the waves with her toy blow up dolphin and the girls made ice creams with the sand you we bought on Friday. Teta ordered us a big bowl of refreshing watermelon, later some ice cream and even brought some snacks from the supermarket. Aida buried herself in the sand and I spent time reading up on Rome and excavating for the lost and buried sand toys which I eventually found. We went for a late lunch at the same restaurant where a bird kept trying to share our lunch and just as we went back to our cafe it's to sit back on the beach it started to rain. It had all ready been a long full day so sf that point we headed back up the hotel. We showered and changed and spent the rest of the day reading, and eating salami bread and salad. We rated the different salamis we picked up From the different kosher places in Italy( Venice and Florence) and had fun eating treats. Olivia had a two hour tantrum about the dolphin for no good reason and we got excommunicated from our room on to the " couch of torture " outside of the room as Hannah named it, until Olivia calmed down Emma drank tea which was hot water and a slice of the giant lemon peel Teta bought in the supermarket. Shabbat is over and Teta Aida and Ronnie went for a walk to pay the bill for the food at the restaurant we ate today. Tomorrow on to Rome.

By the way- we did unfortunately cancel the Israel portion of the trip right before the airlines canceled the flight themselves due to the war and bombings. We are so sad not to go but are happy to be safe and Hannah is happy to have a few more day before camp.
