We woke up early and packed up to leave for our adventure to Venice. From the way Ronnie made it sound just getting there was going to be half the fun. First we picked up our car which was parked in a free handicapped spot right outside our hotel and our first obstacle came when we drove out of the spot down the street ( which pretty much looks like a sidewalk) and saw a huge stone planter in our way. We woke up late at around 8:00( relative to previous mornings) got ready and dressed for the day and grabbed a quick breakfast downstairs. We began our morning walking around trying to find a phone store to get Italian SIM cards. We made our way to the fancy stores in the narrow alleyways and did as jido insisted- shopping! Olivia found a great frozen backpack in the Disney store for second grade ( not so Italian but the girls got a kick out of hearing the Sophia...

So for those of you who have been waiting by your computer screens in suspense, the laundry was in my room waiting, all dry and ready to be packed! Baruch Hashem! It was a Swiss miracle! I went on packing while the girls went bowling in the sport and spiel where Teta surprised us all with her secret identity as a professional bowler. Apparently she can bowl one strike after another with no problem while the rest of us are lucky if we knock a couple of pins down!...
