Mark I can't help but notice in your Facebook pictures you appear to be doing quite a lot of eating. I'm eagerly awaiting the Channel 4 trailers for the upcoming documentary, 'Supersize My Bodyshock: Ten Ton Traveller', charting the story of how the appetite and non-stop consumption of one young girl from Aylesbury exacerbated a global food crisis, sparked Zimbabwean style inflation on wheat and dairy products and sealed the deal on US recession. Perhaps inbetween monster sized helpings of chocolate and butterscotch pie, preferably before your parents have to sell their home to cover the cost of the transatlantic chinook airlift required to bring you home, and maybe before your hands swell up to such a degree that the blood supply to your fingers is cut off, you would care to furnish the online community with another blog. x

Crolla Hancock, The last few blogs have been brill!! Great photo's too! Sp seems like a really lovely person, I'm glad you met him and I hope you found a way to keep in touch. We had a good laugh at work when we saw the bar in the petrol station, that sounds like a crazy night out!! Don't think I'll be raving down at the local Shell garage anytime soon though. The 'killing field' looked just awful, it must have been really upsetting. London's pretty wet at the moment, but things are ticking along nicely. Sailing is good fun, although the whole capsizing thing is a little scary!! Just finished giving my first lecture on colour & light, the students really grilled me, but I got through it in one piece, thank God!! Hope your looking forward to your hot date seeing Hot Chip in November and I'm glad to be of service with the Hollyoaks updates. I could just as easily have gone for 'Everybody (Backstreets Back)' but all your worried talk of plane crashes conjured up images of R&B artists falling out of the sky. Sorry for not being in touch just lately. I have now left behind the cocoon I knitted around myself a few weeks ago and have re-emerged a striking, vibrant butterfly. I am no longer the catterpillar you once knew. Well, I just finished catching up on all the latest blogs I was behind on (almost double figures I think) and feel much more enriched and worldly wise for having done so, not to mention painfully regretful for having stupidly neglected to visit Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos when I was in that neck of the woods. What an idiot I am.I'm particularly gutted to have missing out on the water puppets. I have a very lucid vision of Punch and Judy each armed with a Super Soaker 1000 blasting each other to a watery grave.Please don't tell me if it's not that as I don't think I'll ever get over the disappointment that something as good as that will have to remain in my imagination. I have started to really miss you lately.I was in Salford Tesco last week and I walked past the alcohol aisle and saw a promotion on vodka and suddenly I felt really gutted you weren't around! I felt almost tempted to crack open a bottle and have an honorary swig in your name (of course I would have put it back again in true scally fashion). On a closely related note, a couple of weeks ago (again in Salford Tesco near the alcohol bit) a scally mother wearing regulation tracksuit with midriff on show went up to one of the shelf stackers and screeched, 'Av ya goh any Lambreeeeeneeee?' to which the shelf stacker responded in the affirmative, causing scally mother to shriek in delight, 'Av ya got different flAY-vohs?!?!?' Aaah, the simple pleasures of being a scally. See you soon. x
