Our last stop!! :(

We arrived in Papetee at 2am with accomodation booked so when our pick-up hadn't arrived we had to arrange a taxi and wake the owner up to let us in. Apparently they didn't have any record of our booking!

The next day we had to price up the option of going to Bora Bora which I really wanted to do. The only way you could get there was to fly and as it is pure paradise the prices were high! We decided it was way too expensive (like £250 per night) so we thought our best plan was to take a ferry to Moorea, a neighbouring island then spend 3 nights somewhere nice either there or back on the mainland.

The process of phoning and booking places was a nightmare as there is very little English spoken and our French wasn't much better. Eventually we got to Moorea and it was beautiful. Pure water and white beaches, arrrr. We chilled for a few days before the ferry ride back to the mainland before our pure indulgence! The Radisson in Papetee!!!

As we had spent a year away and this was our final stop we decided to treat ourselves before heading home. We had booked into the Radisson but got upgraded to a suite which was absolutly amazing! We even had his and hers sinks and 2 toilets and a lounge area! Pure Bliss!! We really splashed out for 3 days and made the most of the experiance.

Sadly we had to leave but we were heading home to see family and friends which was exciting. Unfortunatly we had 2 flights and 18 hours in the air before we would touch down on British soil.......
