hey everyone..had a manic couple of days...just got back from the jungle!!whahey my dream come true...the amazon!!!it was amazing..we flew to rio up to manaus which took about 6hrs the size of brazil is just unbelievable!!!when we got to the foot of the river we had a one hour speedboat journey to our jungle camp lol they speedboat more like a shanty boat with a half functioning engine but its all part of the fun!!!being out on the boat is proper pocohontas style through little rivers and ducking under branches!!!when we arrived we got shown to our hammock which were outside overlooking the rainforest and river it was amazing!sleeping in a hammock through the craziest rainstorm i have ever seen was defo n experience i will never forget..over the three days we where there we saw monkeys,pink dolphins and we even went out at night on the river with flashlights looking for aligators..we found many and it was soo errie!!we went fishing and i was the only successful one to catch dinner hahaha..i think the pirihanas kept gobbling up the bait...frank our guide was so funny tellling us stories of tourist he had taken who always wanted to be naked on their trip to the amazon lol!!! im proud to say i also went for a swim and lived to see the tale!!!our journey back was a bundle of fun to standing for 2hrs on a bus while they turned the lights of to let everyone else kip!!!but i had an unforgettable trip make sure u check out the pics!!!!xxx
