To-day is Northern Territory Day the place is crazy everyone can buy Fireworks and they let them off as they please. Went back to the Markets at Mindil Beach for a very special Fireworks display. Took our chairs and 'esky' and had a fabulous view of the display, thousands of people there. We were robbed last night some person opened the door to the van and pulled out Gloria's handbag, stole $100 in cash and tipped everything out on the grass behind the van incl...

Spent time looking around, swimming walking. Had to conceed defeat with our Internet modem, we,ve had to buy a very expensive 'dongle' but it is 4 G and all the usual bull...t then we had problems loading all the software on to our computer as it is a Mac anyway we are back in action.

On our way from Adelaide river to Darwin, have to watch out as a dangerous armed killer is on the loose Police have been stopping and searching traffic. Seen lotsa Police but were not stopped. Lots to see in Darwin especially the Sunset at Mindil Beach, there is also a market, huge, never seen so many people turn out for a Sunset.

Departed Katherine and pulled in at Mt.Bundy Station (Ranch) lotsa animals including some Buffallo, Peacocks, guinea fowl etc., We visited Litchfield N.Park spent the whole day looking at Gorges and waterfalls. The photo is one from Lake Argyle. First a.m. at the Ranch some horses got a bit frisky and ran amok through the camp, luckily no damage was done. Great stay lotsa Roos.

Spent a few days in Katherine visited Nitmiluk National Park. Hired a Canoe and paddled in Katherine Gorge. Saw a few Freshies on the banks of the river. Don't think we would use a Canoe if they were Salties. Also saw some Buffalo on the road side. Entered a photo of our worst nightmares, when you see one of these in the rearview mirror and then as they trundle past, there are many of them. We are moving on towards Darwin and Litchfield National Park.
