We had a fabulous time in the states and are both suffering from jet lag, we both woke up at 2pm and still felt tired.

The trip back from San Francisco was shorter than we expected which made the journey slightly more pleasant. We were also sad to see Pocahontas being returned to the car hire place, Ian was straight on eBay pricing one up.

We arrived back at Heathrow, collected our suitcases and the car was waiting for us outside. It seemed weird being on the other side of the road and having a manual gearbox. Ian also pre-bought some snacks before we went away and hid them in the boot, we scoffed most of them and set off back to sunny Leicestershire. We went straight to the Cat hotel to collect Bella, she was very pleased to see us both and soon settled in back home. Since being back she hasnt left us alone.....

We have many highlights of the trip and have lots of great memories including the dazzling lights of Vegas, being on the beach at Santa Monica, the very cool car, driving through mountains and deserts, visiting Alcatraz and seeing Gordon.

Ian is already planning to go back to Vegas for our 1st wedding anniversary!
