Yangshuo, CHINA -- October 28 -- November 1st: Our time in Yangshuo included many adventurous moments. We climbed Moon Hill a couple of times. We biked through the countryside and learned much about the rice harvest. We bamboo rafted, rock-climbed, hot-air ballooned, caved, forded rivers, and saw the famous light show. We met many of the locals and shopped at the night market. The kids held new born kittens, took pictures of small puppies, posed with monkeys, and even sat on camels. There was much to learn about the Chinese culture, karst towers, and local attractions. Unfortunately the trip ended abruptly when a flu virus got the best of us. All in all, mainland China provided us with a memorable and cultural experience. -- Lance
