Smokey Jo Meow meow Greggy! I'm having such a hard time without you. I'm having to eat cake, every night for comfort, roast meet at Sunday lunch, just to pass the days without you. This morning, I even had to get into Li's bed at about the crack of dawn, just for comfort. She liked that. A lot. At that time of the morning. They told me that you're coming home to me soon to save me from this torture. M'mam's even bought this card thing which counts down the days to the day when you're coming home. I opened the second door today. It's all just for you, Greggy! I'll leave you the last door to open, maybe we can do it together? Maybe I can help you wake up real early in the morning to open it! You'd like that, wouldn't you, Greggy?! I've also pulled and gotten myself a boyfriend (purr purr!). He's a cat of the ethnic minority (I know I need to be politically correct!). We have romantic meals together. Sometimes m'mam gets worried about what we might get up to and chases my beloved from the house. Please will you be my chaperone when you come home? Stacey Hey!!! It sounds like you've been having a pretty exciting time travelling around the world!!!! When are you planning your United States excursion??? Bowman juniors Hi Greg, finally got around to catching up on all your exciting travels. Really jealous but somehow don't think I'll be following exactly in your footsteps! Matt is off to Ireland for the weekend, Jonny is now playing for Slough instead of Guildford - long story. Paul and I are fine and looking forward to thte next installement. Peter Kenny Hi Greg Hope you and Steve are having a great time in Vietnam. I think it's a superb country. The odds against meeting up were always substantial, so it was doubley disappointing to have missed you in Hoi An. On the day you called we checked into the hotel, went out about an hour later and didn't return till late evening. Worse was that the hotel didn't give me your message until after dinner the next day, so you had already left Hoi An. Of course I didn't know that at the time, so was still hoping you might call again and was trying to see if I could track you down. It was only later that the hotel mentioned "the people who came yesterday". Anyway, enjoy the North. I'll look forward to reading your next blog. See you at Christmas. Peter

Peter Hi Greg I've finally got around to posting on your messageboard. What a jolly fine read your blog is, Michael Palin beware! Of course I cannot match your standard, but my competitive streak refuses to be outdone completely. You mention your experience with "Delhi Belly", but suffice to say that I came back from Africa with what can only be described as "Tanzanian Tummy". As for altitude sickness, at my age I experience the same symptoms every time I climb Wimbledon Hill. The "leaches" are difficult to match, but only because I refuse to take a cheap shot at the taxman. Monsoon, ha! Stay at home and experience a good old British summer. Anyway, keep up the good work. Adey Greg, Good work on the postcards documenting your travels from around the world. My favourite so far is Guildford, UK. It sounds like such a magical place. One day I'll save up all my money and travel there. Hard luck about the swim in the volcano, it's funny how you look back on things and wonder how the hell you thought it was a good idea at the time, but it's more interesting to read about than if you had just walked past so cheers!
