Hello everyone, Steph's taking a nap so I thought I'd just update the blog quickly. The hostel we're staying in at the moment has free internet so it's easy to do, might not always be the case.

We've been to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum which was well worth the 20p entry. Seeing a dead body with a military guard was a bit odd the the building itself is very impressive. Also been to Museum of Ethnology. If anyone's reading this and is planning a trip to Vietnam the museum is only worth it for the outside exhibitions of traditional houses, the inside is all pottery and costumes :o(

They really love a bit of Badminton here! Lots of shops sell only badminton bats and there's court markings on most streets, the pavements are really really uneven though! The Brit in me worries amount the of turned ankles... prehaps that's why there's no nets! Tried taking a picture today, it's in the album,

We're about Hanoi'ed out at the moment, it's been an experience but living here would be a nightmare because of the 24/7 traffic. The plan is to travel out to Haolong City tomorrow to pick up a tour of the bay for a couple of days.
