hi everyone its lauren!! its day 3 in bangkok! had a really good day again! we went to the Grand Palace but we weren't allowed in as it was chinese new year with a special ceremony taking place, a very special day only for Thai people. Anyway, we're going to visit there tomorrow! we went to see the lying Bhudda instead, he is gigantic, gold and very long! you will see pics of him when we get a chance to upload them! (probably when we get to oz!).

when we got back from the lying Bhudda we chilled out by the pool for a while soaking up the sun! after the pool we both went for an hour long thai massage for 160 baht each (3pounds) it was really nice, it tickled, hurt and felt very relaxing all at the same time!

we then looked around the market stalls and had dinner and cocktails for valentines day! very nice!!!

again we have had a very good day and the difference in the culture here is amazing and an experience we will never forget!

Hi all its greg, as lauren said we have had a brill day today! went to see a massive statue of the lying buddha (be sure to google it!). then went for a nice relaxing painful thai massage, lauren had a lady massaging her, i had a guy. he weren't as pretty as laurens but he done what was needed!!

Mitchlaaaaa!! you can have the 10 pounds subject to a 5 pound interest fee (still need to earn my wedge!!!!!). Hope your settling into my room okay Daniel and it hasnt caused you too much inconvenience.
