Back to work on Tuesday. Had a good week doing all sorts of various jobs around the farm. We start at 7am, the boss tells us what he wants us to do and then we're left to it until he calls us in when it's time to finish. We can take our 'smoko' (15minute break) and lunch break when we like so it's good not having someone on your back whilst doing the job. Monday was the last day of picking peppers which was a great relief.. that will hopefully be the end of any more back problems. With the picking season at an end on Barbera Farm alot of the workers have been released having to find work elsewhere but I have been one of the lucky few who've been kept on. Didn't get as many hours work as I did last week but it was still a good one. Started taking my iPod with me to work and it's made the days pass by much quicker bopping along to my music up and down the rows of peppers. Had a good week at work so feeling much better about things than I was last week. Done plenty of hours doing various jobs other than pepper picking so it was much more interesting.. had to pick tomatoes, move buckets and then tear down the bushes as it's coming to the end of the season.
