Day 73 Monday 5th June. Another 'lay in' ti 7.30am and another gorgeous day. Sat out side for Toast and Vegitmite breakfast with a cupper. Day 72 Sun 4th June 'Lay in' until 6am!! For the short journey from our camp to Kings Canyon. What a spectacular walk and then dropped down into the Canyon to see 'The Garden of Eden' which is a small lush water hole surrounded by rocks in the middle of the desert.........ate a few apples ;o) and then made our way up to the other side. Day 71 Sat 3rd June Up at 5.30am to get to Uluru to watch the sunrise.....it gets so cold in the desert during the night and everyone was wishing they had warmer clothes as we watched Uluru change clour as the sun rose and real magical moment and got some lovely photos, but really pleased to get in the warnmth of the bus again :o) I made the choice not to climb Uluru because the Aborigini's ask that you don't and I wondered how I would felt if I asked people not ...

Day 70 Friday 2nd JuneUp at 5 for 5 hour bus journey to Uluru 'Ayers Rock' Camp site. Watched an amazing sunrise as we drove. Day 69 - Thursday 1st June - A bit of a lay in until 8am, with the sun shinning into my room. Repack my backpack and send 5 kilos of stuff home, so feels much lighter and throw as much stuff away as poss, as on the home straight now. Finally find an internet cafe that can upload pics, so upload the pics and then grab some breakie and then off to the airport and start updating my journal.
