Thankfully my prayers to the Gods at the Man Mo Temple in Hong Kong were answered and Rea and I made it to Yangshuo in one piece, after a very scary 10 hour journey on a Chinese 'sleeper bus'!! (Pictures to follow and explain!)

Managed to befriend 2 Canadians on the bus, which became vital as we got off the bus, as we got bombarded by scary touts. As we entered the so-called famous Monkey Janes, we were hit by our first reality check, toilet and shower becoming one. Lovely!! Redeeming feature had to be the roof top bar with cheap drinks and views all over Yangshou.
