New Zealand is similar to Iceland. We went whale watching & just like you saw nothing but rough sea. We were on deck all wrapped in oil skins holding on for grim death as the boat went up, down & side to side no one else was that daft!! We did another trip & it was a very spiritual experience as a whale swam under the boat & rolled we had a fantastic sight of it at such close range. Carry on having amazing experiences xx

Hello, Liz
We are missing you at our Friday meetings, but it looks like you are coping without us.
Bungy jumping? My worst nightmare!

How on earth can you be tempted by bungy jumping?!!! Detached retinas await! Have a fantastic time in the great beyond with no wi-fi look forward to hearing from you & seeing the photos when you reach civilisation again.

Hi Everyone
Thanks for your comments. To answer a few, yes I did get up at 4.15am, watch and celebrate the rugby(when in Rome). No bungy yet, but I am tempted, I am walking the Milford track starting Tuesday and finishing Saturday!! No Wi-fi and I am not doing anything that may hurt until I have done that. Wish me luck 57km and I bet it is all up hill.

Did you celebrate New Zealand's rugby world cup win? Bet the Kiwis were ecstatic

I hear you met up with Best Niece last night unexpectedly. She is having quite an adventure with her Belgian boys! A completely new Vicki is emerging. So much for the job in Auckland!

It is amazing to read Even Better Niece's message, what a fantastic start to a career. It just makes you (me) think of us all those years ago starting off on our careers & now here we are two retired old ladies!!!!!! Well maybe not old just in our prime. Continue to enjoy your retirement gap year xx
