hello there! we are now on the island of Koh Samui, where for the first time of our trip have found some beaches. I have left Helen on the beach topping up her tan, 1.it's too hot for me 2. i can't stay still very long, so i thought id come to up date you. 24 hours (2 mini buses, 1 vip bus and a ferry) later from Kanchanaburi we arrived the island of Koh Samui. Its very busy here, with where we are staying- Chaweng - a place for people to party! everything is on the main road of the town so you have cars, taxis, mopeds everything going back and forth all day! Friday we went on a 4x4 jeep safari which was a great laugh! our driver was a bit crazy and he had to stop every now and again to show us some spiders and snakes. During the trip we went to see some strangley shaped rocks, peforming monkeys and elephants and a couple of mad people who thought it was clever to put their heads into crocodiles mouths! we went to see trees where rubber comes from, a magical garden , the big buddah and went to the top of the highest mountain on the island to see the breathtaking views! Saturday we went on a ferry trip to the marine national park where there are 40 odd islands in the middle of the ocean, very nice, quite a relaxing day! we have a couple more days here before we move to the next island Koh Pangan, which is said to be quieter and more suited for backpackers. keep you posted, and remember to keep in touch with us. love fionaxxxx Hi hi....
