Well, it's finally here! The day that this entire trip has been based around ....Vanessa and Andrew's wedding Day!!
We were able to sleep in a tad, had a gym workout and swim then brekkie. Unfortunately, in typical Singapore style, the heavens opened .....the rain absolutely bucketted down! Our only wet day since we've been away and it had to be today!!
We braved the conditions and walked across the the mall so I could get my fringe trimmed - got drenched even with an umbrella !
Had plenty of time to get ready then the four of us caught a cab to the Church of Holy Family on Chapel Road - in the East Coast area towards to airport. The service was a full nuptial mass conducted by a French priest. He was quite a character and ensured the ceremony in such a lovely venue was truly memorable. And, needless to say, Vanessa looked absolutely beautiful! And the bridesmaids equally stunning! Andrew and the boys didn't scrub up too bad either! Directly after the ceremony we were all escorted upstairs for "tea and chats "...amazingly delicious Indian snacks!
Buses then transported all the guests to the reception which was held in the Cinnamon Room of the Equarius Hotel at Resorts World on Sentosa Island.
Amazing venue and was a brilliant evening - incredibly special from beginning to end. So many highlights - the incredible food, the decorations, fabulous speeches, Vanessa's mind blowing rendition of "It had to be you", meeting so many lovely people and having such a fun night with great friends! Shame it had to end!
