Hi folks, we are back in Adelaide for another week in 'our apartment' same as last time. Thanks for all the messages (Sue c / Sue L / Chris) it was nice to hear from you all. We did the 3 day trip to Ayers Rock which was brilliant. We climbed Kings Canyon (Lou just about survided a stretch called Heart Attack Hill! Also we walked around the base of the Rock (6 miles) Didn't climb it as A) It's a sacred sight for the Aboriginals and B) It looked like hard work!! We camped under the stars for 2 nights on Swags (it was too hot to get inside them. Luckliy the worst thing we encountered was big ants, still no spiders so far! It's a great way to meet people, spending 3 days together in the bush. There was 16 of us plus a mad driver/tour guide called Panky (Pankhurst) who never stopped. We were up at 5am each day as by lunchtime it was too hot to do much. When we gotback we had 2 nights out together including all watching the Cup Final in a Casino till 3am. First real hangover of the trip) Back to relaxing by the beach for a few days now before we get back on the train to Sydney next Tuesday where we have arranged a Station Wagon for 10quid a day for 8 weeks.
