Hi folks, thanks for the messages from home (thanks Sue Lou has lost a few pound but so has Ian !!) We went from San Francisco up to Vancouver to meet up with Chris Seel who we used to work with. We spent 3 days there, it was brilliant, did a full day City/Mountain tour. Then we came back down to Las Vegas, 36 hrs on the Greyhound, it was full of wierdos and pretty smelly by then end of the journey..Las Vegas it quite mad, we had 2 cheap nights in a hostel in the rough part of downtown and one night of luxury at the Tropicana Casino Hotel, very flash. Played Rapid Roulette and 3 card poker but didnt win, just got free drinks for a few hours. Yesterday we went on a full day to the Grand Canyon which is amazing, took loads of pictures. We are in a lovely hostel in a town called Flagstaff, its cheap but maybe because a huge freight train goes past the end of the road blaring its horn every 15 minutes (all night long) had to use earplugs. We are making our way across to Austin, Texas now via Alberquerque, only going there cos Ian likes the name. We'll be in touch soon. Lots of love Lou & Ian xxx
