Going RTW
It was 30 degrees in London, which we heard over and over "was unheard of". It made walking around the streets and standing with hundreds of others to see the Tower of London very difficult, a problem we solved by finding a pub on the shady side of the street. Repeat as required.
We drove north to Duxford for a day to see the Imperial War Museum which contains lots of WW II planes and tanks, plus there was an air show on that day. So lots of old planes on display, also lots of old planes flying in formation or making loops. Ron and Michael know all the planes and really enjoyed it, more than I did.
We also went on the London Eye, took a boat ride down the Thames, saw the Tower of London.
