Here's some pictures of Guadalajara and the neighboring cities of Tonala and Tlaquepaque. Public art abounds here - murals, sculptures and functional art (streetlamps, benches) are beautiful and the City is really lovely.

Hey Kiddo...I can't keep up with you. You make the world seem so small. Not missing anything here...tons of winter...really cold and still working lots and lots of hours. You would've been perfect for this job, if you hadn't run away to paradise. It would be tough to come back to this. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy...I'll live vicariously through your blogs. Love them...take care.

Beautiful pics Deb! So glad you're on the road again - I know that's what makes you happy.I have lovely friends in Costa Rica - they have an apartment in San Jose and a house in Atenas...I will send you their phone numbers so you can call them and they will welcome you with open arms. They're from Calgary, a family with 5 daughters. We stayed in their house when we went to CR in the spring. Caroline will steer you in the right direction and leave you to your own devices! They're wonderful friends.Interesting that you were in Chapala...Joe's dad is buried there...I would like to take the kids one day.Have a wonderful, safe trip...love the blog as usual! xxx
