Battambang oh Battambang.  Battambang is lovely. Quiet, sleepy, not yet found by the tourist trail. It does have a schizophrenic history - and very recent one to boot.  The boat trip from Siem Reap to Battambang was about  8 and a half hours. It was advertised, kind of like to the scam bus to Cambodia, as estimated to take anywhere from 6 to 23 hours.
