We set our alarm early to watch the sunrise, however when the alarm went off the sky was filled with clouds. So we had an extra little snooze. We woke up on the Wednesday about 8am (nice lie in) and loaded everything into the car for our journey to Kings Canyon. It was a shorter drive to do. As we were driving we were trying to work out the actual time as we went over yesterdays events. When we finally arrived at Kings Canyon we asked at reception the time…and we had been working on one hour ahead. 24-10-11 to 25-10-11- Coober Pedy to Ayers RockWe arose early and quickly packed up the car and headed off on the road. We had some cereal for breaky then dismantled the tent, loaded the car and headed out. We popped to 'The Dutchmans Stern" range area and got out for a 30 minute walk before we headed to Coober Pedy. Today we arose loaded the car up and headed out, thankfully the car started first time so no problems with leaving the lights on yet. Terry had kindly given us a scenic route to follow so we drove north through the Clare Valley Wineries region. We stopped at Mintaro, a nice little Historic Town which we had a walk around and popped into a pub called Maggie and the Magpie for some lunch.
