Singapore seems quiet without you - ah!! Have found yet another really nice bar/eaterie where they do bangers and mash!! We managed to while away 4 hours with friends down there yesterday. So, we are back to blighty tonight and then off to join Luke in Lisbon on Wednesday - it will be good to see another of our sons. Not one of us is on home territory at the moment with PK & Debs being in Italy!!

must have been sweet to stay with gk's mum and dad in Singapore and getting your last night paid for....personally im loving the quote about singapore girls by danny chun....priceless! as was your thought joe, about the comparison between the meat in england and singapore, whilst realting it to the female species in both countries! haha

Loughborough is pretty boring at the mo just doing coursework really and waiting to get the dissertation mark which will be fun!....started the application roling for the masters at UCL so touch wood i'll be in london next year!

That wedding we went to the other day (we spoke on the phone when i was on the way up) was a disaster, it culminated in a massive fight and me getting covered in blood - it wasn't my blood it was Pete's - and then going home in a police car - i wasn't in trouble with the law i was just helping them with their investigations. Anyway that is too long a story for this msg board.

and what a morning it is... gossip girl loves birthdays and wishes jew a very happy day from around the globe!! this time last year she remembers getting ready to go to hey ewe to celebrate, not to mention karaoke in the gallery 'im a survivor....' ... oh how the times have changed!! (for the worse, as she now sits all alone in an office typing up an action plan for a naughty apprentice with no chance of getting to hey ewe tonight or any sort of rave for that matter!)

i'm sure things over there are looking MUCH better as you sip cocktails on the glorious beach all day long (dont get dehyrdrated, i know what your like with headaches!)

anyway, how is george's surfing coming along? he reckoned he would be too short for the board?! awww cute.

what are the locals like in bali?? i hope you have informed them that it is your birthday! you never know what sort of treats they might throw your way!!

Georgia finishes school today redy for her exams.

sorry i havent written on here in a while, but i've spent the last 20 minutes getting upto date on the photos blogs and message board.

the photos are amazing,,, and joe... that backflip looked a bit pear-shaped mate... did it hurt?!

it is lovely to see mark and nicky out in singapore keeping it real! very funny photos with the statue george.

its all very exciting, and that last night when you went out... i can only imagine what a crack up it was with the barclays boys!! lol

george are you finding much wildlife to look at now you have left singapore?! hope you are managing to keep your clothes clean as now you wont see a washing machine for a while!

i vote Jack as player of the season, just in case my vote counted Big Si?!

Good luck to jack on his German Oral and his AS exams in the upcoming weeks, im sure he'l sort them.

it was bank holiday weekend and i managed to play two rounds of golf so i was pretty chuffed and am even planning to get a round in after work tonight. the weather has been awesome and even naomi has got sun burn on one whole arm (only one arm - she was sitting 'sideways' in the garden)

Luke i am sorry to hear your essay is nay exciting, but im sure you will find the 'essence' of norwich and write a good piece. haha - mate italian food is good... but its all the same. hows your cooking going mate? any new culinary delights you have discovered?

(hope your proud) we did stop off at the white hart for a pint of cider, nd it did take ages!!! But you laughed at my bike & im out to proove you wrong!

Photos look great and we all wish we were there.

However summer has now arrived here in Derbyshire.

We are keeping ourselves pretty busy with various minor construction works in the garden.

Last week we visited the Harrogate Flower Show with Joanne. Nan tried to buy up the whole flower display. She really enjoyed the day.

Toby and I had a round of golf at Shirland. Toby played very well bearing in mind his long intervals brtween games.

Today Geoff and played in a 4B BB Competition.

Chesterfield FC just missed by one place the promotion play off scenario.

Hello!!!! Sorry i havent posted ealier im a bit slow and obviously did not read all the tabs. Sounds brill I hope you enjoyed/ enjoying? Singapore it is an interesting place. Life in Portugal is at a bit dull at the mo just working really, doing the worse essay ever. What does my tutor think is the bloody difference between Norwich and comparison, talk about plucking something out of the air. Saw an amazing orchestra which were playing to celebrate carnation revolution. My italian flatmate cooked me dinner, you guessed it pasta, im suprised i didnt have a heartattack there and then by the amount of salt and oil she used but still you really cant beat the italians on food. I hope everything is cool and my best to whoever reads Luke
