Hi guys,

Sorry it has been ten days since an update, on the islands and in Krabi the internet was difficult to get on and expensive - also we seemed to be rushing around a fair bit.

Anyway it means I have a lot to tell you guys about (thanks for the blog post by the way includingthe Wood family and jonny, nams and Dan, always good to hear from home).

Ok, first and foremost. the morning after the full moon party - woodkat gets home. Lukcobra and i wake up. Only joking, woodkat got in at about 7.30 i think, i couldnt stay out as late (think i got back about 3, and lukobra, at about 5) the full moon party is just loads of people on the beach drinking from buckets (which contain thailand whisky and red bull - for a bottle of whisky with two small bottles of red bull and ice it works out about 2 quid!) there really strong, i mostly had chang - a thai beer (which can also be strong as alcohol percentage in this country isnt fixed i.e. different percentage depending on the individual bottle).

after the party, we stayed in koh phangan ( i have no idea how its spelt - everywhere spells it differently) we chilled on beach and said good bye to lukobra who headed to Cambodia with his mate joe (who is very scatty and owes lukobra2000 baht). our last day in koh phangan and we go on a boat toura round the island, this was pretty good got to do loads of wicked snorkelling and swimming in coral reefs and saw some great scenery etc.. we also stopped off at one of the silands waterfalls and climbed to the top - about 200 metres upstream. once at the top woodkat took the opportunity to bathe with a local in one of the waterfalls (i have a video of this its pretty funny and will be posted soon) - also noteworthy about this trip is the amount of time we spent convincing other girls onj the trip that we had been here before and the waterfall pools contained vicious snakes! quite funny at time.

the next day, we take a boat to surrathani (horrible) and then a coach for 3 hours to Krabi. Krabi is really nice, great becahes and ace scenery everywhere. we had a great room too, which had a Tv (luckily coz we couldnt find anywhere showing the Man U v barca ,match (on here at 2.00 am). once in Krabi we took a taxi boat around the the headland to visit beaches and caves - this was great, you can see james bond island (in man with golden gun)from the beach we where at! once around the headland, we could see rock climbers moving up and down the limestone cliffs - pretty cool.

the next day, we go kayaking in the magrove forest/rainforests north of krabi. this was well good fun, we got to see loads of caves, monkeys and trees and canyons etc... in teh afternoon we go to emarlad pool, which is a perfectly clear lagoon inland - theres a rope swing just swing and jump in for about one hour, good fun.

the day after kayaking we chill out on beach and walk up to Nopparat National park beach- which is just another great beach really, alot less touristy and more genuine (quote woodkat). the only thing funny about this day was meeting a tiny man called 'an' - who drove us back to our room for 40 baht (80 pence).

next day, we go to Koh Phi phi, on a speedboat - this was wicked. took about 45 mins, once there we snorkelled on reefs and in lagoons (the best snorkelling thus far). we also visisted the beach where the beach was filmed (amazing best beach by far) . whilst visisting we get caught up in a huge storm - pretty good fun (the monsoon is just starting on the coast) and the rain was so intense, but only short lived so not to bad. we get back ay 4 and go for food and to play pool, we meet to absolute wan#ers, called christain and robin.

we are now in phuket, hostle here is ok, not the best. but internet is free - so good time to update.. 2moro we fly to singapore to meet mum and dad. can't wait!
