hi everyone!

thanks mum and dad for birthday messages!! and good to hear you had fun with lukey in portugal!! say hi to grandma and grandpa for me, (i hope they got the postcard)!

Sydney is great! maybe my favourite place yet (close with singapore). since arriving we have been very busy walking around various areas of the city. we have visited Darling harbour, which is a kinda chic waterfront bars and restuarant kinda area, we have also been over to Bondi (which is amazing, would be a great place to live), we have also been over to manly and shelly beach (this is the north head of the harbour and has a national park and great views back over the city), we also visited the sydney olypmic park (massive, not much going on there but was good to see). tommorrow we head to the blue mountains for some more walks and sight seeing! today we are walking across the bridge and going up the tower.

i forget to mention we have also been to the opera house (which is cool) and the gardnes in sydeny which are unbelievable, really nice, we saw lots of wildlife, loads of cockatoos and flying foxes (massive bats)... we also went to the sydney library for a press photo exhibition which is well good (luke would have loved it i reckon).. in fact later today we are going to the museum of contemporay art , luke would like this too i think!! OK, well thats the update, we leave for new zealand on monday 26th, early in morning!

thanks for bday message again (im wearing the birthday shirt) although its winter hear its still 19oc and sunny (not bad).
