hi everyone! just a quick update, we went to the zoo the other day and had a great time. we saw perhaps the largest bear i have ever seen, it was huge! we also saw loads of reptiles and a cool sea lion show. In san diego we have visisted Balboa park which is a nice garden / musuem area in the city, good fun there. yesterday we head over to pacific and mission beach, which was packed, loads to see and do too. today we are heading back to have a swim and surf! yesterday we saw dolphins just off form the beach, initially i thought the fins were sharks!!! tommorrow we head up the coast of the coastal train to LA, where we are getting a bus to Santa Monica. we have three nights booked there and then plan to head up north towards San Fran , stopping at San luis Obisque (weve heard this is real nice)! we plan to get to san fran on the 18th , from there we are going to take a 3 night / 4 day camping trip around Yosemite (apparently you have to camp in like caged ares due to bears - so thats going be pretty cool i reckon). we should then be back in san fran for the 22nd and we will spend our remaining days there, sight seeing, brdige and alcatraz etc.. any suggestions let us know? cool. take care everyone! gk x
